I’m Jeffrie Ann. I started this blog in Sept. ’09.
(And yes, I know I need a new photo where the top of my head is included… I’ll get to that. Soon. I hope. Anyway…) I finally did that after 6 months. I was going to delete that line when I put the new photo in but hey, I like a good laugh at myself.
Anyway… as an esthetician (three times trained in three different states), I love learning about new treatments and cutting edge skin care. I love meeting a client, discovering her needs and solving her skin mysteries. Helping her look and feel her best.
There are so many new discoveries about how and why the skin ages. There are tons of new products that claim to prevent, repair, restore and slow the premature aging of the skin.
Many of them are just claims though. But some of them are not. And who better than an esthetician to help you find the stuff that works? Over the years I’ve tried a lot of them. I’ve been disappointed in many, elated over few.
Want to know about a particular ingredient, or maybe about new technology? What to look for in packaging? That’s important. How about why something that seems like it should work, won’t? Maybe why we get wrinkles, how to prevent wrinkles, how to reduce wrinkles. Ask me, or check out the posts I have here.
I am also a Pilates Apparatus Instructor, just not currently teaching. I believe in a fit body no matter your age. Who says it all goes downhill after 40? It doesn’t have to. But only you have the power to keep your body fit, flexible, lean and strong. If you want it, you work for it. When you work for it, you get it and the rewards are many.
I enjoy helping women to be their best. I suppose that is why I chose the two fields I’ve worked in. I love to see a woman be the best she can be at every stage of life. We are all going to grow old, but we do not have to look old, dress old, act old or feel old. I don’t, why should you?
From time to time you may find links to other sites that are of interest to me beyond skin care. I’ve seen some amazing sites that offer helpful and thoughtful information for women, good supportive woman to woman stuff. So there will be places I may send you for that.
