I did try it on my skin just to see how it felt. There was no residue left behind that I could detect. And remember, this is not for a breakout that is inflamed, just for the red mark left behind after the healing process. So don't try it on a pimple! Just scars. I had never heard of it either! But this could be possible only for small breakouts? Sometimes using scot tape, the glue on the scot tape itself could make the skin more dirty and worsen the acne. I never heard about this.
