Hmmm, Kool….. Which tanning salon do you own? Tanning beds/bulbs cause cancer. Tanning beds/bulbs are addictive as they create cutaneous endorphins which keep you coming back for more. There is no research done by the medical community indicating that any tan is safe. Period. I am so disappointed to see this propaganda still exists. Sorry, Kool. I gotta call it as I know it.

Theirs nothing wrong with tanning as long as you don't go to much, just go enough to get a based tan. The sun is a lot worse than a tanning bed. They have anti burning tanning beds, technology is just way advanced now and skin cancer won't be much of a problem with tanning beds.

Absolutely correct! But why is it that fair skinned people think they need to tan to “look better”?

There is overwhelming evidence that tanning bed side effects are damaging to the skin. The whole object of tanning is to look better. However the side effects of tanning are so damaging to the skin that the results can be older looking skin or even death.

Maybe they would read the post? And look at the site I linked to? Your teens aren't the only ones. Tanning Salons where I live are all over and being used predominately by teens!

I really wish that someone could get this info across to my teen daughters. They won't listen to me about tanning. They have burned themselves too many times to count.
