Thanks for the tip! I looked at the site briefly and it appeared to be more an IPL for hair removal rather than the treatment of aging skin... Am I correct?

i use the Viss beauty home IPL for my skin blotches, and it has worked so far, they come back, but it takes care of them for a few months, definitely worth the money ( 545$ www.vissbeaty.com ) and you just have to order the photorejuvanation lamp. i think that was like 50 bucks. works great, im very happy with it!

Hi Josh, Is your mom finished with her course of treatment for the melanoma? I think it would be best to wait until she is no longer receiving treatments to address getting rid of the marks left by them. And she may be a candidate for IPL Photorejuvination at that time, but only a qualified Cosmetic Dermatologist can make that call. There may be something she can use to lighten the marks appearance until she is finished with treatment but again, she would need to see an MD.

Is there anything you would recommend for someone who has had a chemical treatment for melanoma ? My mom goes through these treatments and her skin looks like it's covered with birthmarks for the next six weeks. Any way to take some of the edge off that?
