Facial Wrinkles Telling Your Life Story?

Mirror MirrorWhen you look in the mirror, what do you see? Is there stress? Are all of your life issues displayed for all to see? Or are you looking at a face that is stress free? A face that is smooth and relaxed, minimally lined or wrinkled.

I’ve heard women say they feel that every wrinkle, line, sag, bag and imperfection tells the story of who they are. And they claim that this is something they are proud of. It shows where they have been, the struggles they have survived. And the fact they have indeed, survived. How about this one, I’ve earned every wrinkle and gray hair. Wow.

On one level I have to agree. We do earn some of them. All of us have struggles, traumas and issues that come in and out of our lives. We deal with it and if we are healthy of mind, we move on. But the wrinkles and lines, sags and bags, they stay. Then there are those pesky genetics. Yes, we all have a pre-destined path of family genetics that determines how we age.
